A 50-year-old man was hit and killed by a car late Saturday on the Southwest Side, Chicago police said.
The man was struck around 9:45 p.m. in the 8500 block of South Cicero Avenue in the Scottsdale neighborhood and pronounced dead on scene.
The vehicle drove away after the crash, police said.
