When Paul Zipser missed last Thursday's victory over the Hawks, Denzel Valentine started and scored 11 points with nine rebounds and five assists.
On Wednesday, coach Fred Hoiberg moved Zipser to the bench but opted for David Nwaba over Valentine against the Heat.
